Fall Family Fun at the Raleigh Art Museum

Fall in Raleigh means cozy sweaters, pumpkin spice everything… and golden hour photo magic! As a Raleigh family photographer, one of my all-time favorite spots to capture that magic is the beautiful Raleigh Art Museum. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem for family photos—with tall golden grasses in the fall, blooming flowers in the spring, and sculpture trails that make every session feel like an adventure.

I recently had the sweetest session with a fun-loving family of five—a lovely couple and their three adorable kiddos: two giggly girls and their little brother, a redhead with the best hair ever. They showed up ready to play, explore, and just be themselves—and those are always the best sessions!

We wandered through the open fields, chased the sunset, and let the kids run wild (in the best way). The tall grasses swayed in the breeze like something out of a movie, and the warm fall light wrapped everything in this golden glow that made every moment look magical. There were tickle fights, twirls, leaf tosses, and the kind of candid smiles that just melt your heart.
