Sleepy, Sweet, and a Little Bit Hoppy đ°

If you’re a sucker for holiday-themed cuteness (hi, same), you’re going to love this one. This Easter-themed posed newborn session was everything youâd want from a sleepy newborn shootâsnuggly, sweet, and full of spring vibes.
This baby boy came to my cozy Smithfield, NC studio at just a couple weeks old and absolutely nailed the whole âprofessional napperâ thing.
The Setup: Simple Easter
For this session, we kept things soft and neutral with just the right pop of Easter charm. This baby boy wore the cutest little knit tan bunny ear hat and matching knit briefsâwith a fluffy little bunny tail on the back that I canât stop obsessing over. Seriously, it was adorable from every angle.
We placed him on a simple cream backdrop with cozy textures to highlight his perfect baby skin and those tiny little features that change way too fast.
The combo of neutral tones + sweet seasonal touches made the session feel festive without being over-the-topâso mom and dad can cherish these photos for years without them feeling dated.
A Chill Baby + A Cozy Studio = Magic
These early newborn days are a blur, which is why I love creating a relaxing space in my Smithfield studio just outside Raleigh where parents can take a breather while I work my magic. And this little guy? He made my job so easy. Calm, cuddly, and cute as can beâan actual Easter dream.
